The company was formed in 1992 and was involved in the manufacture and supply of fishing boats for the developing fishing industry in Oman. As the main ports of Sohar, Salalah and Muscat have been developed and to peace with the development IFTEC Marine expanded its range of services to include ship repair, marine safety equipment such as liferafts and lifeboats, fire fighting equipments, electronic and navigational aids.

IFTEC Marine has modern Marine Servicing centers adjacent to the Ports of Sohar, Salalah Port Service, Muscat and Marina Bandar Al Rowdha. These stations are approved by Lloyds Register, ABS, DNV, etc the original equipment manufacturers and the Ministry of Communications in Oman. All our Technicians have received manufacturers training and are licensed to carry out repairs.
